“ My friend brought me here & it’s so cute inside. I got the sage matcha then a matcha with black walnut syrup the next time. Soo yummy! Staff are sweeties ”
“ Stoped here before going to Rose church in a rainy Sunday. Warm and welcoming hip Portlander’s spot. Craft coffee and lots of vegan options ”
“ I needed to make some updates to an article I was writing on Medium, but no coffee shops were open. I looked on Yelp and found this place, open till Midnight; it was around 10:30pm so it was perfect. The barista/bartender (oh yeah, this is a coffee shop/bar) made me a custom drink. He made me a latte with pear syrup sweetener and orange peel shavings on top. It was unexpectedly good. Like I said, it has a bar, but it still maintains the coffee cafe vibe. ”
“ Dear Sandy is a delight, day or night. The meticulously cultivated vibe is comfortable and just homey enough. The snack menu is excellent, with the garlic confit and sliced sourdough (on the menu as "Good Bread and Gold") a particular standout. Earlier in the day, it's a fine place to catch some coffee, a pastry, and a good conversation with a friend. As the sun wanes and the evening begins, the bar aspect comes alive, and the bright, airy space is transformed into an easy dive atmosphere. The cocktail program is exceptional, including their zero proof menu, and the bartenders are bound to have something to suit your tastes. The central location makes it a great option as a meeting spot - or temporary local, if you're visiting. ”
“ Such a cool spot! The vibes are fun and friendly. The sweetest staff with great recommendations. We drove from newberg for one drink and obviously stayed for more and ended up closing the place down. We will definitely be back. Thank you ladies for a great little night out. ”
“ This is my favorite bar in Portland! The owners and staff are so friendly and warm. The decor is an incredible collection of genuine vintage items that is lovingly curated. The drinks are clever and well balanced and the food is really good, classic fare. I especially recommend the Smoke and Spice cocktail and the hummus platter. I became an instant regular with the Crafternoon gatherings hosted there every Mondays and love that their alcohol-free drinks are just as good as their full-proof cocktails. ”
“ This is a fun spot. Cafe vibes with coffee drink options but also full stock bar. I went specifically for cocktails at 2pm on a Friday. A lot of bars don't open until like 4pm or after so my friend and I started our food/drink hop here. I recommend using the bathroom closest to the bar. You'll get a kick out of it :) ”
“ Had an absolutely FANTASTIC latte here (BBL) that was unique and crafted with care. Scone was good, loved the aesthetic, and everyone was so kind. ”
